After reading this review, get ready to plan a trip to Melbourne. Without doubt, this is far and away my most exciting and memorable experience in ANY strip club.

Kittens is not the classiest club I've visited (having said that, it's not bad), the bar is expensive ($9 for a beer!) and the music really wasn't to my taste. However, to be honest - these are not the reasons we visit strip clubs! It's all about the girls - and believe me, the girls at Kittens in South Melbourne definitely know how to give the average punter a good time. All three of the girls I had private dances with were all hot as hell! Always a great start. Secondly, they really knew their stuff when 'entertaining.' Finally - and importantly - the rules at Kittens are what put this club light years ahead of any of the competition I've visited - across Australia and overseas. Sure I've had great private dances in the state where I live but our dancing restrictions mean that nothing at home can compare to Kittens. You see (and this is the killer advantage Kittens has over all other clubs), Kittens offers 'hands on' private dances! This means you can touch the dancers above the waist while being 'entertained' privately. If you think that sounds pretty awesome, read on to understand the full implications of this fantastic rule.

A few others have criticised the club on a few levels that I think are really unimportant, so let me dispel these criticisms before relating my experience in full. It has been said that the private dances are really not that private because you are in a room with about 5 other guys all getting a lap-dance with other girls. Sure, the clubs I have visited in the past all had private rooms so that's what I was used to as well. However, the dances you get at Kittens ensure that you will not even notice the other guys. Believe me, all you can concentrate on is the hot chick in your lap. I can honestly say that I only briefly noticed the other naked girls in the room with me (and that's not a bad thing anyway!). Someone criticised the 'mafia style' bouncers. Huh? Sure, they were big guys but I found them helpful and polite. Didn't bother me in the slightest. Come on, if they're the only complaints, you should already realise you're onto a winner.
