Stopped in Bottom's Up on a...

Stopped in Bottom's Up on a recent Saturday evening about 6:30. I haven't been to this area in quite some time, but I remember visiting this place when it operated under a different name. The parking lot was nearly empty. From the outside the place looks very old and rundown, much like it did back in the day. The neighborhood is a bit seedy, and features several other clubs along the strip.

Upon entering I was greatly surprised at the difference from the outside. It's exterior greatly belies the decor to be found inside, something I was not expecting. Much cleaner than other clubs I have visited.

I was immediately asked what I would like to drink by an average looking at best young lady, and was promptly served. There were three "dancers" in the place, none I would rate more than a 6 or 7 on a good day, but none were dancing. Instead they were chatting amongst themselves at the bar. About halfway through my drink two got up and walked outside. I finished my drink and asked the bartender why it was so slow with no dancing, and was told the other dancers were running late, but should be coming in soon.

I guess I just hit this place at the wrong time, but honestly I was expecting just a bit more to keep me there for more than one drink.

I would be willing to give this place another chance in the near future, perhaps a bit later in the evening next time, and hopefully will enjoy a much better experience than the one I had this time.
