Others have accurately described the physical features of this club--- recently remodeled interior, single stage with poles, booths and tables, etc. I'll highlight several attractive features-- nice small town neighborhood so street parking is usually available and seems to be safe, no cover charge in the afternoon, strip club prices for bottle beer-- $7.50 or so. On the afternoon of my visit, there were about 10 dancers on duty and only a few customers. On the down side, this club does not enforce the state smoking ban so, depending where you sit, you may end up smelling like smoke.
Most of the dancers were in the 5-6 range and only a couple in the 7-8 range. I had pleasant conversations with several dancers but unlike most Detroit area clubs, the dancers that I encountered had pretty limited "menu options"-- two dancers were "dance only" and the other was French but no FS. I was disappointed that I didn't find an attractive dancer who offered a more extensive range of VIP fun so I left for a more enjoyable visit to Flight Club and then to Bogarts. I know the limited menu of fun at Landing Strip will sound like a picky complaint to many readers in other parts of the country but Metro Detroit is noted for lots of high mileage clubs so I thought that this afternoon visit to the Landing Strip was not only disappointing but also worthy of reporting so that others would alter their expectations for the Landing Strip. On the other hand, this was only one afternoon visit so it would be inappropriate to draw more sweeping conclusions unless other customers begin to report similar experiences.
So in synopsis-- nice club, decent but not outstanding afternoon talent, not as many "extra-friendly" dancers as some of the area competitors (e.g., Flight Club and Bogarts).
