Thursday afternoon. Must be a good place to work since all the female faces were familiar and I only visit a couple times a year. Maybe a dozen customers, all regulars, all nursing their drinks and being ignored by the girls. Or maybe more fairly, nursing their drinks, fixated by the dancer on the stage, and ignoring those working the crowd. Didn't take long for one of the dancers to sit down and chat. She comes across as kind of flaky but she gives good dances. Long story short, we ended up doing 10 minutes ($50) in the VIP and it was well worth it. Don't be put off by all the cameras, at least on day shift, they don't seem to monitor them and you never see a manager wandering near the VIP or lap area. Granted the mileage here isn't likely to be as generous as Detroit but I really don't miss stoned dancers quoting menu prices in front of everyone (ala Bogarts). Here the menu is privately negotiated and I've always found the prices competitive. A bit more class but a bit less mileage. Biggest disappointment ... cover is up to $10 during the day. Guess if you're the only show in town you can get away with it. If you're near Saginaw, stop in.
