This was my first time going...
This was my first time going to Headquarters, and I was there to see Lisa Ann as a feature dancer. I bought an event ticket online before hand for $5, so I didn't have to pay the cover, which is normally $20. The club is pretty nice, but small. Of course it was dark, but the upholstery and the tables and everything seemed ok. The interior is small compared to Rick's or the old Scores. There were maybe 20 or so cocktail tables with armchairs around them. Most were on the ground level, but there were two raised sections. One had a long bench that was used for lapdances earlier in the evening, but later, those areas filled with customers. I think you have to get buy a bottle or order some sort of table service to sit up there, as those spaces were filled with groups. Once the club got full, dancers were doing dances at the customers' seats instead of in the raised area.
Drinks are pricey - $7 for a soda, and $10 for a bottled beer, but there wasn't any sort of minimum that I knew of. Be careful with the waitress. She's sweet, but I gave her a $10 (for the $7 drink), and she just took it, assuming the rest was tip.
There's a small stage where there's a standard 3-song set for each dancer. It seemed like breasts out on the second dance, and then stripped down to a bikini bottom for the third. There's only really one table up against the stage, though, so I don't know how they expect guys to tip. In my experience, guys sitting away from the stage rarely make the effort to go up and tip.
