Return visit to the Lodge after...

Return visit to the Lodge after a couple years away. Went on two nights in a row, Thurs/Fri.

This is a very upscale club, with less of an emphasis on VIP and extras and more on dances and conversation...sitting in the main room, or the library (smaller room with circular booths), you notice that several of the dancers are content to have 45 minute conversations with patrons, punctuated by a few dances here and there. It's more evenly balanced than the "wanna dance" culture of Baby Dolls. Not a better or worse obeservation, just something different.

The Lodge has talent too: lots of choices. But it simply lacks the hustle factor and makes it unusual: you can actually relax here. Service is good, food is surprisingly good, and you can have a very enjoyable time; I bought dinner for a knockout blonde (M***y) who was funny, very well-spoken, and respectful; this was enjoyable on many levels, and I did get several dances as well as a very nice evening.
