This was my first visit to this club on a Saturday evening in quite a while. The club has been in the spotlight due to a recent shooting in the parking lot there between security and some patrons in the parking lot. At one time it was the premiere black club in South Florida. It was always known to be the place NFL and NBA black athletes would go to when in town. Allen Iverson used to live there any time his team was in Florida back in his prime. Parking lot area is fairly secure. I got there around 8PM to find there was no cover charge - business was slow - surely hurt by the bad press lately due to the shooting. You are frisked at the door which is a good thing for this club known for an occasional rough clientele. There is one huge stage in the middle of the club and a side stage. The main stage is always occupied and the side stage is occupied when it is busy it seems.

If you are out just for scenery and a couple of beers - I do not think there is a stage in Florida that the girls show more on stage. Just be warned you may start out just looking - but you will end up at the ATM and then come the lap dances.

The bartenders here are very nice and drinks are very reasonable. The best part about this club is $5 dollar bottomless lap dances and I mean real lap dances.. Most of the dancers are black or black mixed and there are some real beautiful girls. I spent some time with one beautiful black girl - she was sweet and not shy with her grind. Touching was not a problem and they sure know how to grind. They have one back area for more private dances at $10 but the girls are not allowed to be bottomless back in that area and privacy doesn't exist as any one can look in.

The music is great if you like hip hop and gangster music with a great beat. When the Lexx gets busy it is just a huge party atmosphere. A real fun place to be - music blaring - people partying like crazy and girls naked everywhere. The girl I danced with told me she was 19 years old and I had no doubt she was telling the truth. I typically pay $10 per dances as I think $5 is almost a joke with the quality of girls and the dances. You do that and you are golden in this club - the girls really appreciate it.

This is a great club especially when it is just moderately busy. To those that cannot handle a primarily black clientele and girl staff - this is not the place for you. On the other hand, if that doesn't concern you I can't think of a better place to be on a slow easy night. I will definitely be back. Man I can still see that girl's face - wow what a beauty....
