The Bush is my favorite and...

The Bush is my favorite and is really the best strip club in Utah. It has the most dancers, the friendliest dancers and staff, and pretty laid back (you can get high mileage if you want it). Of course, Utah clubs can't hold a candle to Texas or Vegas clubs. They do not advertise because they're trying to keep a low profile since this state is extremely conservative.

This review is based on multiple visits to Bush over the last year. First, let's cover logistics. Getting to the club: pretty easy, just use a GPS. The club is located in a light commercial district that seems very safe. Parking is very limited directly in front of the club, but you are free to park across the street when those businesses are closed. I was told it's good to park across the street (as opposed to down the street) so that the staff can keep an eye on your car. The cover charge was $8 when I went last time (with my significant other). After paying the cover, you get your hand stamped (with invisible ink) so that you're free to re-enter the club the same evening.

Now let's talk about the main reason for going: the dancers. There's a main stage and another small stage in an adjoining room. I've only seen dancers on the main stage - maybe the other stage is used for special events? The dancers do two songs on stage, the tops come off on the second song. There are some seats directly next to the stage -- these are for patrons who want to get up close and personal with the dancers. If they dance for you, or on your lap, you're expected to tip for that. Afterwards, they walk from table to table expecting a tip from everyone else who was watching. They seem very happy with a $1 which is usually followed by a friendly hug. If you don't have your ATF, its best to watch the dances, and if you like one, you can arrange a private dance as they come to get their tip. (Best to sit on the far left side if the stage against the wall -- this is where they usually start their walk.)
