Small time place in a small time town
Was in town visiting and had a free night so I stopped into the Pony. It looks like every other small town small joint you find anywhere. The parking lot is a little beat up and didn't have any potholes so no vehicle issues. The place has a small outside area the is completely hidden from view unless you go inside. I walked in, paid the usual $15. They give you a standard yellow neon wrist band. The place has one large stage and a lot of sitting area with high top tables. There are a few cushioned chairs for those wanting s closer look. The bar area has more variety than your usual small time places. The bartender is an older biker looking guy, tattoos all over and knows how to make drinks. There were only a few girls working. There were the same amount of women who aren't dancers than women who were. There were a few guys in there the girls all seem to be familiar with. The entire hour I was there, I was only approached once and it was by one of the non working girls telling me her friend thought I was attractive. I will say the girls that do work there are attractive, least the ones I saw. On a scale they were 5-6, small to not too big. One of them was definitely blessed up top.
I talked to the bartender about the club and he said the town hates them but don't do anything to the club to sabotage it in anyway. The girls that work there are from the area or a little outside as the closest town to Galesburg is Peoria and if the girls can't get a spot to work in Peoria they head to the Pony. I asked him about the extras and he hinted at possible extras, as his exact words were, "It depends which girl you get what she will do, but let's just say No means no." Considering nothing was going for me there I asked him about what else is in the area and he just said if I was looking to have fun whether it was a lot of fun or just some arm candy for the night. I was better off going to Big Al's in Peoria.
