Well, all good things must come...

Well, all good things must come to an end, and after an amazing run of good luck with 3 clubs in two cities (PHX and LA), number 4 was pretty much a bust. Now I really like DVCOI, partly because of some wonderful memories of when it was Sahara Industry, and there were a few dancers over time (a stunning black girl, a Vietnamese/Cambodian, and some others) who were not only super hot but super fun in the lap area. And even in recent years since it became DVCOI, there have been some really good times.

But this time was a frustrating bust. Now there were some good dancers, including a very hot black girl. But between hiding in the dressing room and being otherwise unavailable, I got real frustrated waiting for a dance that never happened. And there were a couple of other girls I wanted a dance from, but I just couldn't get the right timing when they and I were both available. So I spent a lot of time sitting around hoping they'd get free. And waiting, and waiting, etc.

Yeah, I could have been more assertive and told the waitress or chased after them, but that's not me. In my experience, if you have to chase them, then chances are you're not gonna have a good experience. There's usually a reason why they don't circulate around, and that could be because they're not into dancing that day, or not into you, or just tired and/or lazy, or 50 other reasons. Plus I don't like the idea of customers having to work at getting dances, it should be the other way around.
