Hard Candy does look a touch...
Hard Candy does look a touch sketchy on the outside. The parking lot is a bit difficult to see at night - basically an alley to the right of the club off a one-way street. Entering, it looks like a mexican restaurant that has been turned into a strip club. Black ceilings; white stuccoed columns; arches; and a stage that is flat with a makeshift chain "cage" around it.
When I stopped, there were about four patrons and two dancers. The dancers I observed were much in line with the reviews before, and presented a bit of a conundrum. One looked, by her face, to be in her mid-fifties, but she seemed to have a 24-year old hard-body - honestly, the face/body dichotomy was a bit jarring. She could definitely dance though, and had some impressive pole skills. I would rate her body as a 10 (easily) and her face about a 5, averaging her to about a 7... There was only one other dancer on shift - she looked to be late 20s... She was bigger - not what I'd call a BBW, but not a spinner, or ever what I'd call average. I would rate her a 5.5-6; she wasn't painful to look at nude, but she wasn't my preference either. I will say that both dancers did taxi dances, and spent a good deal of time with myself and the other (few) patrons that were at the proverbial and non-existent rail.
The dancers told me that a couple more were supposed to show up in a couple of hours, but I didn't feel like waiting, so I finished my beer and left.
