Deja Vu is actually three different...
Deja Vu is actually three different things in one building. There is the show club, an adult bookstore, and a bar. The outside of the club looks a little worn but not bad. The inside of the show club was nice; well lit and a good sound system.
There are usually discount coupons for cover charge in the paper but I did not have one and paid $10 to get in. They gave me a wrist band so I could come and go all night. This is good since they do not serve alcohol in the show club and you need to go outside to go over to the attached bar to get drinks (beer was $3.00). When you enter the show club it is a large rectangular room with the bar (soft drinks and O'Douls) near the entrance and the main stage centered on one of the walls. There were also two small satellite stages that were sporadically used while I was there. Lap dances are given in small booths along the wall opposite the stage and there is also a curtained off area that was labeled as the VIP area. Nobody mentioned the VIP to me so I have no information about it. Dancers had a 3 song set though they often skipped half of the first and last songs and they sometimes played a song between dancers. This means there were significant amounts of time with no one on stage. With the new laws the dancers have to keep their bottoms on and wear pasties, this was strictly adhered to and several of the dancers did not even take their tops off. There were lots of 2 and 3 song dance specials throughout the night. There also seemed to be a shortage of dancers since they seem to congregate outside to smoke or at the bar to drink. Hustle was low while I was there. The show club had several TVs but they were not turned on; I wanted to keep up with the football games during the dead times in dancing. You had to go over to the bar for that. Overall it was an average night at the titty bar. This used to a great club I hope things pick up.
