If you have been following my reviews I missed reviewing this one club after the first time I visited it 6 months ago. I will try and make up for it now with better details here. This is another Diamond in the rough. I visited this place with several friends and then again by myself. There was one reason to come back and she was quite, not a gold-digger, and certainly not a real looker. She made up for it in being the kind of girl the others in this club weren't...a real country girl. This club and the other in town offers mostly traveling black dancers who only wanted to make their money and run. Not her, she was honestly interested in the customer and spent time talking and listening...a true friend to the patron. I don't want to give her name here because if I ever get back to the club I hope she recognizes me and doesn't fear that I have betrayed her. She was worth visiting the club day-in and day-out the entire time I was in town. Unfortunately I think she may have moved on and so it may be a loss to this establishment. Non the less I put this establishment at the top of my personal favorite list only because of this one white country girl in a field of black wannabe money grubbers. I think the owners are a cool young couple who deserve appreciation for making the attempt to keep a humble thing going and allowing the girls (country) to do the right thing with their customers. The patrons will come back again and again for the right stuff. Pool table is ok but can bring in the wrong element. It was a good conversation starter but the real activity happens in the darker lit small tables where it needs to and the single pole center stage is something that makes this small town club well worth it. Don't change a thing except maybe turn the rest of the lights down low and let the girl do the walking, the talking, the dancing, and you will see this place thrive.
