A plus to this place is that, for an out of towner visiting like me, it was easy to get to with the subway. A short walk through a deserted but safe neighborhood of an industrial-ish area. There's a crowded nightclub right next door, so taxis are easy to get when it's time to leave, too.
Inside, I used a coupon from my hotel room's in-room magazine for free admission. Nice break there. I sat at the bar and waited a while for the bartender to serve me. He was busy working the whole time, setting up drinks for the waitresses, so no big deal. The crowd was pretty good, and the inside was big and spacious. But only one stage was in use, and they could have had more dancers going.
An older dancer sat with me and talked for quite a while. She was a little heavy (attractive still and not overweight, but the rest of the girls there were young and very fit). She was friendly and didn't push a dance, so it was sort of nice to get to talk with someone that long. Later, other girls would come up and the conversation only went as far as "My name's _____, what's yours? Want a dance?" I don't mind the push, because the dancers are there working; I just want to present that as my experience for the review. Maybe it's different when the size of the crowd is different, because there were many dances being given. The first dance I got a girl took me from the bar to an area along the wall, so I expected some contact, but it was mostly air. A second dance with her and a dance with another later were the same.
