The Harem is a good choice,...
The Harem is a good choice, as long as you don't mind a place where "the inmates run the asylum." The club is easy to find, near the corner of Dixie Highway and Needmore Road just west of I-75. No cover chargs on days; the club inside is big, dark and smoky, with one large center stage (with a boxing ring in the back) and two small stages. There's a balcony area around the dressing room and DJ booth with couches, but I didn't make it upstairs. Lap dances are done in a large rectangular room off to the side of the entrance, with benches along the walls.
On the positive side, the liquor prices are the lowest of any strip club I have ever been to. I drink Scotch, and was charged $2.75 for Dewars. Holy schnikes, it's $8 at Hooters! The dancers are very friendly and physical (hugs and kisses for a $2 tip on stage), but the talend varies from 2-8. Mostly "girl next door" types, if next door is a trailer park; a few were so saggy and ugly I was prepared to pay them to put their clothes back on. I hung out with a couple of cute dancers who were cool with having a drink and sitting on my lap. The lap dances were high-mileage, but I was charged different prices by each of the three dancers I went back with.
My opening comment refers to the "anything goes" vibe. Dancers do what they want to do; charge what they want to charge. There's no obvious management around, no bouncer on day shift. Once you settle in to this circumstance, the Harem is a nice place to waste a few hours. I can't think of anything bettter to do in Dayton.
