Dropped by for the first time...

Dropped by for the first time in quite a while on Wednesday. The place was surprisingly full of dancers at about 12:30 p.m., including one very cute blond who I didn't get to meet but will definitely hope to get some time with in the future. The minute I walked in I was greeted by one of my favorite dancers, who had been gone for quite a while and has now been back for a month or so. Laura is a sweetie who can carry on a conversation easily and who is just a genuinely nice woman (with a really nice pair of bolt-ons). I'm usually not a fan of those, but her personality more than makes up for them. I had some lunch, which was quite good and free -- only fair since it's $10 to come in and sit down - and we chatted for a half-hour or so. I think there were only two other customers there, and she said it had been slow all day. Sighted some of the roster of regulars while I was there -- Raven, Mandy and Michelle, plus a couple of others I didn't know. I was so glad to see Laura back that I knew we would take a trip upstairs ($20 to the bar in advance and at least a matching tip to the dancer. As others have noted, mileage is limited here, but upstairs is a kitty-watcher's paradise and I did enjoy the view. I had sort of crossed this place off the list of regular stops, but I'm going to put it back on now. Even without the high mileage you can get at other Akron places, Bottoms Up is once again inviting for a change of pace. I need to get blondie upstairs soon.
