Every 5 months or so I...

Every 5 months or so I make the drive to Providence from just north of Boston. In the past, I always tried a different club, but always ended up back at Desire. The quality of the dancers and the atmosphere at the club is second to none in providence.

The club is relatively small with a main stage and a small side stage that has not been in use when I am there in the afternoon (perhaps they use it at night?). There are two bars which usually means there is a place to sit at the bar. In addition to chairs at the stage, there are some table and chairs surrounding the stage. Perhaps the best part is the outdoor patio. If you are a smoker, it gives you place to go. If you are a non-smoker, it can be a place to get some fresh air in the nice weather (assuming there are not too many smokers). I also find it to be the best place to meet and talk to the dancers when the weather is nice.

Most of the dancers are very attractive (7+) and personable. Looking around, sometimes it is difficult to decide who to take for a private dance. Speaking of private dances, the last time I visited they had added some additional champagne rooms( not sure how long they have been open - there was a large gap in my visits). The new ones appeared to be a little larger, nicer, and from what I understand, a little more expensive. I am not sure if there are other differences between the rooms and the dances. Also, anytime I got a private dance, it included a free drink which is a nice touch. Some of the dancers are pushier than others (although none that i encountered were really all that pushy ) but all of them seem to respect a "no" or "not right now".
