On a boring Thursday night I decided to check out the parrot. Last couple visits have been ho-hum so was hoping for alittle excitement at this club. I walk in about 9, which is alittle early I know, but I thought I walked into a funeral or church. Music was on but it was pretty low. 5 or 6 guys were sitting at the stage or tables. All staring at the lone dancer on stage. Beers infront of the, nobody talked, nobody moved. Just staring at the girl. I thought I was in the fucking twilight zone. I should have turned around and left. Well I got a beer and eventually someone moved and I did have a nice conversation with a girl I knew working. This club is just so "dead" for lack of a better term. Its never a party, more like an awkward family function. Not a bad time, but not a good time either.
