After having been in Austin a year, The Rose is my favorite spot to go and I've been to them all around here.

I think the reason is that when it gets busy, it feels more like a friends party than it does some seedy club with a bunch of dudes gawking at naked chicks rubbing themselves. Good place to bring a girlfriend or group. It's a bar/club....that just so happens to have the hottest girls I've seen at any place 'round these parts strutting around. While most of the place is pretty exposed....they do have 3 or 4 nearly fully concealed private booths where I'm sure more than normal fun can be had. This is even more private than the "VIP" area up near the main stage. Lots of TV's and poker for other entertainment. Oh....and they have these "Street Tacos" on the menu that are off the hook. Seriously. Cheap cover too. Smoking area out back with TVs and girls hanging out.

Negatives? I'd suggest using cash only. When you use a card the "pre-charge" it in increments of $50 and make you sign some sort of agreement. Lame.
