I went to visit Venom a few weeks back, as it was one of the only clubs in Tucson I hadn't checked out yet. It is in the back corner of a retail shopping center, which is a little weird vs. a freestanding building. The fairly heavy security screening before entrance was the most I've experienced in Tucson. I think TDs west is a little more hood than Venom (not by a ton IMO) but Venom feels the need to use the metal detection wand. This wouldn't otherwise bother me, but there were enough regular customers coming and going at will that this did not reassure me that it was a weapon free environment.

It took ~ 30-40 minutes for a waitress to ask me if I wanted a drink, which I didn't particularly so it wasn't a big deal, but if you do like drinking as part of your strip club experience, I imagine this would be more irritating.

As for the reason any of us come to these places, the girls were alright. Not very many girls for the size of the venue and day of the week. No girls that absolutely shouldn't be in that line of work, mostly Latina with a couple white girls as well. The few girls that did check in with me had a high hustle factor, and it definitely seemed more of a bar for regulars than a traditional strip club to me. I didn't even get to the point of discussing prices, so I'm sorry I don't have an update for y'all on that. I'd hope it would be regular Tucson prices, but the potential for "dancers set their own prices" drama seemed higher than average at this club, so be careful.
