I have not been to Godfathers...
I have not been to Godfathers in a long time. The club itself is still one of the nicest looking in town. The outside is very classy looking and the inside is nice too with comfortable seating. As far as the layout of the club; basically it is a large rectangle, the full bar (beer was $4.75) is at one end and the main stage is at the other. Upon entering the club you pass the bathroom and bar on your left, take a right and find a seat. There is also a door on your left about mid-way to the stage which leads outside to the smoking area. I think the cover was $7.00 but I didn't pay since I printed out the free coupon from their web site.
The dancers were young and for the most part good looking, no 10's but certain nothing below a 5. Each girl dances a 3 song set on stage, most lost their tops before they were half way through. They played nothing but classic and hard rock that night with no rap or hip hop. With the new ordinance all of the girls were wearing G Strings and pasties/latex on their nipples and there was no flashing on the stage. I went to the tip rail several times and there was decent contact and appreciation. One stand out on the stage was Paris; she did some nice tricks on the pole and was very creative in receiving tips. Lap dances were good but not great. They were running a 3-4-1 deal that night and I was pleasantly surprised that they were not cutting the songs short.
The biggest, positive thing to note about this visit was the lack of nonstop pressure to buy drinks, that is one reason that I have not been there in so long. In fact the hustle was pretty low key all around and I liked that. Overall it was a good visit for a slow Thursday evening and I will be back a lot sooner this time.
