I went into Little Darlings on...

I went into Little Darlings on both Sunday and Monday a week and half ago. This place is not fancy, and there are no high-class dancers, but in its own way, Little Darlings is unique. It is unlike standard clubs in Baltimore and elsewhere, and it does not follow the formula of The Block. Yes, you are supposed to have a drink in front of you, but bottled water for $2 will suffice. I was not asked to buy the a drink for a dancer to get attention from one. The main room is small, but it has a DJ (pretty good one, too). The dancers really do give nude stage dances, thoroughly exhibiting their bodies (as opposed to the bottomless-optional, quick peek stages at many "nude" clubs).

The back rooms were under construction, so dances were limited to the old carrels alongside the bar. With the completion of the construction, the privacy should improve considerably. Both nights I was approached by dancers who could hold a conversation. On Sunday, Layla and I had a lively discussion before she took me to the carrel. In spite of the tight confines and limited privacy, she gave a great dance. On Monday night, the dancer was Lacey, a good-looking blonde who also made good use of the carrel, but she was more mechanical; she was more efficient than passionate.

Anyway, Little Darlings is my choice on The Block.
