I took a drive to the Electric Blue in Tolland on my way through CT for a job. It was around happy hour time and the place was packed. I noticed some patrons were actually parking at a park and ride located across the street and walking over. Generally though, the lot is fairly sizable and the locale right off of I-84 makes is accessible. Cover was $5 and they nabbed for a $5 beer, but it didn’t seem that there was any drink minimum.

It’s a decent set-up overall, with a large bar with ample TV’s and a large stage where they usually have 3-4 women dancing at a time. Plenty of tables and chairs off to the sides of the stage (along with two pool tables) so you can just relax there. One relatively minor complaint is that the tables and chairs around the stage and in the adjacent sitting area are rather old and worn and could use some upgrading, but it’s Tolland, CT not Las Vegas, NV so I guess we can’t expect a real plush setting. Crowd was mixed – given it’s 20 minutes from a University, you had a few college kids, but that was offset by a number of white collar guys ranging in age from 25 to probably 50, as well as what seemed to be the blue collar locals.

There were certainly plenty of dancers, I’d say nearly twenty and most were in the 7-8 range in the looks department. Maybe a one or two not up to par and one or two closer to nines. Ethnicity was varied as well, some white, some South American (seemed Brazilian), and a few Hispanics. The girls were friendly, but not overly pushy. Dances were offered by many girls, but not in an overly aggressive way. Some girls actually seemed to just want to enjoy a drink at the bar and wait their turn on stage.
