Visited a few weeks back on a Saturday night. That night, a Deja Vu tradition, "Melonfest" was being held. Held in late summer, it's essentially a lap dance competition that pits a team of girls from 3 Deja Vu clubs against each. This night, the competing clubs were Lansing, Flint, and the "home team" Kalamazoo.

I've been to many of these events before and it's no longer exiting for me. It used to mean lots of new faces and cheap dancers, but this year, I just spend some time in the VIP with my current favorite.

The club is located a few miles from downtown, a bit off of the beaten path. A small parking lot - one of my complaints. Since the building actually houses two clubs - Deja Vu on the left (18 juice bar) and Little Darlings on the right (21 with alcohol) - most of spaces are taken up by dancers. There is an over-flow right about a block away, but for some minor safety concerns, not thrilled with that.
