I went to Rick's last Monday...

I went to Rick's last Monday night about 7pm and it was the most uncrowded I have ever seen it. There were probably about 25 dancers there at that time and an equal number of customers. I stayed for several hours, and more dancers and more customers filtered in. It was still pretty uncrowded by 10pm, but definitely picking up. Now on to the good news. During the night I had dances from three different lovelies and, when I asked how much, each one said $20. I don't know what's happened, but maybe they realize that the $30 tariff is driving away business. And...I got my money's worth. It was a real challenge to make it through a couple of those dances in one piece! I talked with the dancers about why it was so slow, and no one had a good answer. I asked about the flap a couple of weeks ago with some of the SPD getting into hot water over their relationships with Rick's personnel, and they said they didn't think it had done anything. However, a couple of dancers did claim that they were having trouble making any money, given what they have to pay Rick's before they can break even and the fact that it was a slow night. In any case, despite the complaints voiced in previous, recent reviews, I've got nothing but good things to say.
