I’m afraid that I will have to second some of the posts that have been made here as I am saddened to see the end of what was Ybor Strip. I am, or was, a regular who visited at least once a week and spent more than my fair share on the girls. I bought the $4.00 dollar bottles of water, (what is that, about a 350% mark up?), paid an extra dollar for the same bottle of water just because I purchased it for a dancer and still did not complain. I even supported the club during the “6-foot rule” period. Now you have just gone too far. I guess that greed has won out in the end. Jack up the cover charge to $15.00, jack up the cost of drinks and charge $50.00 to sit on a couch. Hell, there are fewer places to sit now than there were before. Why don’t you fellows just charge to sit down period. What’s next? Charging us for the air we breath while inside the club? What I am guessing that the management just does not seem to get is the charm that Ybor Strip had, and I say had, was that it was not just another stupid “gentlemen’s club”. It was a nice place to go and hang out where you did not need to feel like you were being squeezed for every nickel that the club could get out of you. Why bother driving all the way to Ybor Strip from west St. Pete when I can stop at Mons or 2001 and get the same treatment now. What saddens me the most though is the attitude of Jay and the rest of the management staff. I though you guys were smarter than this. You call these changes “improvements”. Bull! You improve something when you make it better and you certainly have not made Ybor Strip better. You have ruined it. If I could give this new club a negative rating I would, but I can’t. So I’ll just give Scarlet’s or whatever the hell you are calling yourself now, a one.
