Wanted to get out and have...

Wanted to get out and have a drink and saw ad for 1337 King Street in paper, several other places had ads, but this one also advertised a dinner menu so I decided to check it out. Intending to have a steak and enjoy sights. I arrived at around 8 PM and sat at the bar, it was quiet for a Saturday night. The club had standard chairs around main stage, outer walls have booths like a diner. The Lap dance area consisted of roughly half a dozen 3 sided “rooms”, with a leather extra wide stuffed chair (looked comfortable but did not focus on where I was sitting during dance).

After ordering a whiskey straight up ($8.25), I was approached by a performer, who sat next to me and struck up a conversation. The up sell started with buying her a drink ($7.25). She asked if I was opposed to a lap dance ($30 paid to bartender). Awhile I finished my whiskey the performer and the bartender and I had an excellent chat. There was an attempt to up sell to the VIP room (which I later regretted not taking the up) before lap dance. Lap dance was well worth the $30 and then some. I was wearing glasses and have learned that one of the signs that a lap dance is worth the money is that I have to take them off first. When I asked the dancer about the glasses she said unless I wanted nipple prints on them I should take them off. Did not get a chance to try the Club advertised (and the bouncer recommended) full menu.

Found the staff and performers to be friendly and very enjoyable.
