Northamtpon is an expanding, up and coming town and I think the folk behind Urban Tiger did a good job in trying to reflect that in the design and atmosphere of the club. The club itself is beautifully presented. Upon entering the door you will be greeted by a beautiful young receptionist who will take your coat (and your money). Until recently the entrance was free before 9, £5 after 9, and £10 after 11, although I think recently the policy has been changed to £5 all night. Also, you can easily request VIP passes by visiting their website. The doorstaff are also polite and friendly, although they are big and do have a no-nonsense kind of attitude.

You then enter the club itself. The bar is directly in front of you, a cash machine conveniently to your right and the stage a little way over on the left. If you are in a group of more than about four, then you will most likely be approached by yet another beautiful girl enquiring whether you would prefer to take a seat straightaway and make use of the waitress service. Alternatively, you can order direct from the bar, however, the waitresses tend to be quick, discreet and convenient.

Surrounding the stage itself are twelve or fifteen seats - the rest of the floor is on a split level, with tables and booths near the walls. On the walls are erotic pictures of girls, the difference being at Urban Tiger that the girls on the walls are the same girls that are in the club! I would say that the girls themselves are among higher than average quality and well worth the £20 private dance, which takes place in a private booth at the back of the club.
