My last review of the Harem...

My last review of the Harem was extremely positive. I claimed in January 2012 that the Harem was now the best club on Dixie Drive in Dayton. I am sorry to report that I no longer believe this to be the case.

The Harem has a lot of positives; it always seems to be stocked with a variety of girls, the drinks are cheap (2 dollar beers for happy hour and $10 buckets on Sunday), and the dances are also low priced (usually girls do 2-for-1s for $25 or $30, sometimes $20). There are also negatives, though: the heavy smoke, the stupid promotions ("foxy boxing," etc.).

The Harem used to be good for a lot of mileage as well. The back dance room, even though it was wide open, was a good place to go for up close and personal dances with the girls. However, management really seems to be cracking down on this. There's a lot more talk of cameras in the room, there are many more bouncers visibly present who do a "sweep" of the premises, and I have even heard of guys getting thrown out lately for getting too "comfortable" with the dancers.
