Indecisiveness is a killer here. Figure out who and what you want quickly; at $40 per dance in the back room you won't have time to experiment too much before your wallet is begging for mercy. That plus the mandatory $10 drink means that you need to act fast! The average dance here (there are signs posted in the main room advertising $20 dances, but I have never seen a lap dance take place in the main room) is twice the cost of the average dance in Washington. As with anywhere else, there are a fair amount of those who will please and those who will tease mixed in. The good thing is that there aren't many dancers to choose from so your decision should be relatively quick. At least in the times I've been here. I can't recall ever seeing more than 8 or 9 girls in the club at one time, and my last visit (Saturday night) was no exception. There were probably 6 girls on duty during my most recent trip. For reference I've also been in the afternoons and on other nights.

Likewise there were only 2 or 3 other customers when I was there. This seems to also be fairly consistent. Sands is a small club for guys who know what they want and with girls that generally provide. The atmosphere is lacking, there isn't a great stage show, and the waitresses will hound you for lady drinks (but take a firm "no" well), but I still recommend the place as the folks (dancers and other staff) are friendly and know what you are there for. I'd rate the value much higher if the dances weren't so expensive.
