Been to the No 5 a...

Been to the No 5 a number of times over the years. As you approach the club, you might wonder what you are getting yourself into. It's not in the best neighbourhood, with homeless and hard core druggies around in large number. The club keeps them out though, so not to worry. Upon entering, you will find that it is clean, nicely decorated and well setup. Seating is on a couple levels. A number of big screen televisions are placed throughout with current sporting events showing. The stage is small and intimate, with an adjoining shower. They have a quality sound system and usually have the volume up just right - not too loud or too quiet.

The waitresses are attentive and pleasant. Typically they work hard to make sure your glass is full and are quite consistently circling the club. Drink prices are fair, and considering that there is no cover, represent good value to come in and just take a break and have a drink. There is street parking around the club, as well as a small lot attached to the property. The parking lot is run by impark and isn't very expensive. The club will even reimburse your parking ticket on most occasions. All in all, no complaints about the club itself.

The dancers on the other hand have been pretty weak, of late. Their lineup doesn't seem to change much and they don't seem to happy with their jobs. Going through the motions. On average, they will have a 4-5 girl rotation and perhaps one will be memorable. Private lap dances are available upstairs for $50. I personally consider the price steep, and my observation is many of the other patrons do as well. I often wonder why they don't lower them to $20 - $25 and perhaps get three to four times as much activity compared to what they currently get. I'm usually by during the afternoon, so perhaps I'm wrong and the evening crowd is different.
