I've heard from others in town that this is the best place in Jacksonville. While I can't argue the club is clean and the girls are attractive, that is where the positives end for me. The drinks are priced comparatively to the rest of Jacksonville, but the vibe here is different. For one the girls are no where near as friendly as they are in other Jacksonville clubs. The ones I prefer are bikini clubs and I like a girl to spend some time with you before asking for a dance. At the Gold Club it's "hi im [insert fake name], do you want a dance?" If the answer is no, they move right along without anything else usually. That's when you actually get a girl to say hi. I've tipped some girls only to have them vanish to the dressing room and not even bother to come out. I've only gotten one lap dance here and the girl was totally unaware of what is and isn't allowed and not to my favor either. Maybe she was pretending not to know what she could do or new, I don't know, but the private dances area is one of the more isolated in town. It's just awkwardly placed b/c you have to walk past the front door and it's adjoining restaurant to get there. Overall I was not impressed so I'd recommend it's sister club Emperors if you are going to frequent somewhere.
