I visited the Gold Club on...

I visited the Gold Club on Thursday in the early afternoon (c. 3:00 or so). The place was mostly empty. The door was unstaffed so after tentatively letting myself in I was greeted by a bartender and two dancers sitting with a single patron at the bar. One was giving him a back massage. After ordering a beer and sitting at the bar (there stage was empty for the entire time I was there, I suppose that's the deal with the day shift?) I was approached by an Asian dancer in her late 20s. She gave me absolutely zero sales pressure, and we just chatted for more than a half-hour;o drink requests, no dance requests. I offered to buy her a drink out of politeness and she ordered a rum drink of some sort (which she pounded). When she had finished her drink, she finally asked me if I wanted a dance.

She was both cute and the only unoccupied dancer I saw, so I accepted. She suggested the $30 couch dance area for its added privacy, and I quickly agreed to a pair of dances. Within seconds of starting her dance, she let me know that extras were available and I was quoted a fairly low price. She got to business straight away (not even a warm-up dance until I asked), and left in a bit of a hurry once things were over and I had paid and tipped. Since there was nothing on stage and no other girls around, I ended up leaving immediately afterward.

I'd be curious to see what the evenings offer here, but these slow afternoons seem to be a simple and sure thing for those looking for cheap service but a bit lacking in some other aspects of the strip club experience.
