I think it's been a little...

I think it's been a little over a month since The Koi Cabaret opened right next door; but all I've got to say is it's definitely hurting business.

I showed up at around 9 Friday evening and the parking lot was reminiscent of the trickle of patrons on a Wednesday night. The Koi on the the other hand, significantly larger. Regardless, I went in paid a cover of 10 and was told VIP was 10 additionally. I knew this was a reduction from the usual 20 for VIP. The crowd was small and the dancers not quite energetic. Watched the rotation as usual, noticed that I didn't see the one girl I had in mind, and ordered a drink for a girl I tipped.

I sat with one, Destiny, and talked for a little bit. I spent 30 on her on the floor dances, as they were so she could "warm up". Since she was the best choice for the night and was opting to take her to VIP, I gave her the 30 got 3 ok dances and then started to talk for a bit again. Asked her about the Guys next door and how it had affected her. She said it wasn't really a big deal, she knew that a lot of the "bitches" would move there, and that she could have most of the customers from here. I guess she made a good point considering I had just given her 30$ to hover over me.
