I went to Jaguars Gold Phoenix...

I went to Jaguars Gold Phoenix with a group of friends Friday evening. I really enjoyed the club atmosphere - it was more like a club with a high energy DJ, a mixture of music, but mostly rap, and the DJ even threw in some old school Snoop Dogg - which old school rap is my favorite. I have been to other strip clubs where i felt I was in a library. When I go out I want to party and have fun. And that was the experience I had. As a woman I thought the cleanliness of the bathroom and the amenities was above average. I thought the dancers were all beautiful, and they certainly had a dancer for each type of body, hair color, or style anybody could want. I got a table and a private dance from a dancer named Jenna. This was the first dance I have ever had that she respected I was a female and danced as such. I hate when strippers dance on me like I'm a guy. Its gross. However, a few of my male friends enjoyed private dancers from her and they liked her just as well. From their description she was really attentive to what kind of experience they wanted and even asked them abut what they liked so noone just got a generic lap dance. I did notice she tried to upsale a lot of dances, but it wasn't in a pushy or "hustle" fashion. We found the other dancers friendly but didn't enjoy the dances as much. I actually had the worst dance I ever had in my life from a petite brunette named KC. So it seems like you should be choosy and watch the girls so you get the experience you want.

In regards to drinks the service was very slow, so we typically went to the bar to get our own drinks. The servers aren't very quick and I noticed they sat around talking most of the time. However, the dancer I mentioned before -Jenna- sat with us for a while and was happy to go grab one of the servers for us when we got tired having to walk and wait at the bar every time we needed a drink. It was really busy when we came in and they have 7 stages with a dancer on every stage, so if you prefer to sit by a stage and tip, its the perfect club. It seems the girls rotate in a cycle around the stages then come on the floor and offer dances. I thought the bouncers were really serious and not very friendly, and the security at the door was ridiculous. For example, we could't bring in any writing pens and one bouncer asked me to put my purse back in the car because it had my prescription medication in it. That seemed extreme. But I guess your safe once inside. Overall, I would definitely go again. It is by far the most upbeat and fun strip club in Phoenix.
