Like lots of guys, as a regular, I've been known to spend alot of my disposable income in Ybor Strip. Whether the cover charge was $5 or $10 is not really an issue, nor is a $4 or $5 bottle of water. The couches and the mandatory showtimes are HUGE issues for me, and they've pretty much scared my away from Ybor Strip. In the past, I could go in the club, hang with my ATF for a while at a couch or at least at a table with a couple chairs, head back for a private dance, and leave. The last two times (literally the LAST two times) I went, I had to suffer through my ATF describing how much I'd have to pay to sit on a couch, and how there's this new great VIP room that's going to be $200 or something like that. Since nobody was really paying for the couches, every chair was full, so I had to stand and chat with my ATF; to find a seat, we made our way to a private room, and managed two songs before the damned mandatory showtime. Two weeks in a row. Something is amiss at this place. It's no longer worth the drive.
