1st Time: Two Nights That Didn't Disappoint
Overview: Had a great time the first night, I went back the next night. YMMV!
So meow that I have semi-recovered from traveling, I can finally but my trip into words. To start I was visiting Groton, CT for the second time. My first time was back in May and only stayed for a night and didn't have any real free time. So this trip, after driving up, having dinner at Fat Tuna, and visiting Foxwoods, I came on here and looked at the clubs. Due to work requirements the next day I decided on Mynx. The rest of this review will be broken into club details, Night #1, and Night #2.
Club Details: Big ol "Mynx" sign to be seen from the road. Ample parking. First set of doors leads to another set, no window or anything. Open up and immediately on your left there is the bouncer stand. Scans ID, didn't have to pay cover due to first responder/military (sorry forgot to ask what it usually is). Looking straight in you have the bar to the right, VIP Dance Area immediately right, "small" stage to the left beyond stand w/cushioned seats, Champagne Room immediately left/up and behind bouncer stand, Regular lap dance area behind smaller stage, larger stage all the way in the back left, with tables and chairs in between the two stages, pool table back right, kitchen/restrooms/dressing room beyond pool table. Bar has a decent selection of alcohol from draft beers to liquor. Draft Fat Tire was roughly $4 and my double Jameson was $18, so avg from what I have experienced when deciding to drink at clubs. Oh and they were having some issues with their tap water and only had bottled which was 4.25. No dancer drink prices that I experienced. Lapdances are $30/song, but might be more depending on dancer (more on that later). VIP was $150/15 min. Champagne Room was starting at 350-400 for 30 min w/ a bottle included.
Before I get into details from both nights: Visited on Tues and Wed night. Only the small stage was used. There is next door Mynx After Dark which was described as a "separate" club but it is considered dry so full nude on stage is allowed and dances are upcharged there (if I understood correctly). I did not venture to the After Dark side either night (maybe next trip).
Night #1 (Tues around 10:30 pm): So I pull up and a fair amount of vehicles were in the lot. Go in, show ID, and get stamped. I find an empty seat at the bar, bartender "A" (never got a name) seemed busy my entire time there but was attentive when you got her attention. As I looked, there was about 4-7 dancers, all ranging from petite to tall, slim to thick-ish, white, Latina and AA, and some have been around the block, rotating but mostly engaged with the same customers, which we ranged between 8-14, the entire time when they weren't on stage. So I planned on a short-ish trip with no real expectations. Grabbed some ones and went to the stage where Cassandra was dancing. She is more on the slim side with curves where it counts. It was an on par stage performance, stripped down to tits in main Mynx club (which applies to LDs), but bonus points for not only almost crushing me with her thighs but also finding out she just recovered from shoulder surgery and performing beyond the last stage performance i saw. So after her set, I grabbed another drink and she came and joined. She gave me the club rundown, and we chit-chatted. As I was nearing my done point, I offered a three song. Payment is afterwards. So we got settled in the LD area: kind of a cushioned bench and cushioned back. Meow, the start of the YMMV. I didn't know the rules of the club/didn't ask, so kept hands off, but half way through the second song she informed hands are allowed to roam at her discretion, essentially on exposed skin and clothing articles, and to have some fun, which I did. Afterwards I called it a night.
Night #2 (Wed around same time): So I was hoping to see Cassandra again and entertain a VIP Dance with her. Alas that would not be this particular case. So I go in, repeat last night entrance. Few less cars this time which reflected inside. About 5-9 customers and now 8 plus dancers. Got a drink from meow a very attractive and attentitive blonde bartender named Kendra (guessing on spelling, sue me). Immediately got two AA dancers on either side one tall (6' w/ heels) and slim with more than a handful of ass, and one short/petite but thick in the right places. We started chatting and "short" got called to the After Dark stage I think. So "tall" (completely forgot her name) and I had a shot together and she proposed some dances. I said ok how about a three song, which the reply I got was ok but I charge 40/song. My response was ok then better make it two to which I got a shrug and we went up. Like last night I took lead from her on hands and she noticed and we had fun. However, my other head took over and the second song came and went, and she still was dancing. I had to make a verbal ackdgement at the end of the third song. Lesson learned: be adamant in your intentions in a respectful but concrete way. Even though I didn't show it, I was irked. So grabbed another drink to blow off steam, and saw no one sitting at the stage where a dancer, Sapphire, who was working the night before I noticed, was quasi-shaking her ass since no one was tipping at the stage. So I sit, start tipping, and for some reason, whether it was my initial posture or expression, she thought I was an innocent customer tipping (bahahahaha). Thankfully she quickly dispersed with that thought and we talked while she was dancing. Sapphire asked if I liked pole tricks, to which I responded "you fucking bet". If the pole wasn't a spinner, Sapph would still fucking rock it. So as she was wrapping up I suggested we get a drink and she said see you there. I get to the bar and Kendra was like "shot o'clock???" I said what are you a mind reader and Saph pulls up next and said no she is just that good lol. So we had some great conversations, kinda inferred about my earlier encounter. So I was still wanting to do a VIP, even though it wasn't going to be with Cassandra, but I wanted a normal dance from Sapph first. So I offered a two song. We went up and, I'm not joking, she set her boundaries immediately! Granted same as "tall" and Cassandra meow. Even though it was a two song I felt more relaxed for some reason. And then as I am looking up at her, don't ask me why, but the the way the lighting hit her face, mainly the contour (yes I used makeup terminology, bite me), for some reason I was entranced and felt like I melted and was puddy in her hands. Like a dark angel glowering down in amusement. Anyways, I was hooked and wanted more. Afterwards she said, "well, did I pass your try-outs?" I enthusiastically nodded and said I think we should do a VIP dance. So as I mentioned where it was the actual area is "strung bead" curtain with multiple big semi-circular deep set cushioned booths. Kendra came back with us to take payment up front. We started, she set the timer on her phone for 12 min so she new the next full song afterward would be the last. Again I just had fun and was utterly entranced lol. We had some more enlightening conversations, especially on the "privacy" throught the area we were in. After our time, she walked me out to the door and wished me well.
Thoughts: I know I have said YMMV, but also it is what you make of it, attitude wise you perverts 😉. Human decency is to easy and got me a lot farther my two night visits than I thought. But also I need to be firm in getting what I want from there.
Verdict: Will go again next time work brings me back to Groton. Hope that Cassandra and Sapph are still working there. Maybe get a VIP from Cassandra next time? Both? Def wanna see Saph on the pole again. Maybe check out the After Dark side as well. All in all I had fun!
