This used to be my favorite...

This used to be my favorite club, but lately it just isn't doing it for me. The one saving grace is the fact that it's an all nude club and there are usually some great looking girls. My most recent visit just didn't live up to expectations. The girls seemed really disinterested, something that I've noticed more and more at Mardi Gras in the last couple of years. Also, there were signs saying that the minimum tip was $2, something I've never seen before. I usually tip $2-$3 anyway, but don't like being told that I have to. As others have mentioned, the stage is pretty unique, with a mote running around it between where you sit and the stage so the bar maids can bring you your beer. Some of the girls stick to the opposite side, but the ones who really want to make money will come over and sit right in front of you.

On this visit, I couldn't seem to flag down any girls for a dance at the stage. They were either hanging out talking to customers for long periods of time, or at the opposite end of the stage from where I was sitting. Also, I find that some of the girls are too pushy asking for a lap dance. I personally don't like the lap dances at Mardi Gras, and did not ask for one this last visit. They're pretty much hands off and I find them boring. Save your lap dance money for Electric Blue in CT. I made the ultra mistake of going upstairs for a private dance once - complete waste of money and very expensive. It was basically the same as the lap dance downstairs, but a lot more money.

If nothing else, I usually enjoy getting some stage dances from some hot naked girls while having a couple of beers. This visit disappointed all around. The girls didn't seem as good looking as in past visits and I couldn't get a stage dance to save my life. Combine that with the turn off of the $2 tip, and I really didn't enjoy myself. I'll probably give it another shot - hopefully this was just a bad day, but I won't be going anytime soon.
