I've always been a fan of the DRIFTWOOD. It is right outside the main gate to the Marine Base Camp Lejeune. Alot of marines from the base go there. If you like a big crowd then go on a payday weekend when it will be packed. Any other time it is pretty dead until around 10pm. The dancers are average to good looking, they got one girl that is pure russian, and she is a knockout. The girls can be kinda push sometimes when it comes to tipping and getting a dance, but for the most part they are polite, and good natured. They are not above joking around, and enjoy picking on the customers out of good fun. The staff is friendly and pretty helpfull. The bouncers are very proffesional, so don't mess with a girl, or do anything inappropriate, or you might find yourself getting escorted out the door in a headlock. All in all a pretty good club, and not very far from a couple of the hotels in Jacksonville
