Sam's Hofbrau is a casual club that's pretty decent value for the LA area. The club itself has a stage with the observation rail set pretty far back (no stage tipping), with plenty of TVs and seems almost like a restaurant that happens to have a stage. As others have mentioned, the pizza here is actually pretty good. Early in the evening (6pm about when the shifts changed), there were a relatively small amount of dancers here, however as it was a weekday I didn't really expect much more. A few other reviews I read suggested that the club gets crazy crowded with gang type people and had bouncers confiscating items on the way in from the parking lot - I saw none of that.

Dances are conducted on a row of chairs along one of the walls - you're not secluded in a booth, but on the other hand you're not dropping $30/dance like in some other clubs. The dancers ranged around the medium end of the attractiveness scale, I'd guess you should be able to find a few that match your specific tastes. Although the "no touching sign" is prominently displayed near the lap dance area, when I pointed it out to one of my dancers she laughed and rubbed my hand all over her cooch - your milage will obviously vary by dancer.

The clubs I tend to prefer are a bit lower key and not as "suck all the money out of your wallet" driven as many clubs are nowadays, so I'd rate this a solid, good value and fun for the money place. Set your expectations appropriately and you'll have a good time.
