The Blockist has been very busy...

The Blockist has been very busy lately - he has only been able to work out one or two trips to my favorite part of Baltimore per week, with virtually no time for documenting the goings-on. However, the Pussycat deserves some quality time for rumination. Once a Blockist favorite, it has evolved to a pale remnant of its former glory. The major investment in the club undertaken about a year ago resulted in a temporary designation as "the palce to be" for many of the Block's best entertainers. However - not exactly sure why - dancers have become unenthusiastic bordering on boring. Blonde Kali was a favorite, but she has decided that a 9-5 office job better meets her needs. Brunette Kali talks a good game but leaves a lot to be desired in the satisfaction department. Many of the regulars have gone on to better things, and the remainder (dregs?) just don't seem to be engaged in the business of pleasure. The departure of Jimmy the bartender a while back may have had something to do with the decline - it seems that the lack of enthusiasm on the part of Miss Cathy and George is contageous. Maybe it's the economy - stupid!

Whatever the cause, the Blockist looks forward to the pendulum swinging as it has for many years, and a renaissance for the Club Pussycat may be just around the corner.
