A buddy and I stopped in...

A buddy and I stopped in to check out this club a few weeks ago. We were in on a Thursday early evening and stayed for a couple drinks, before heading on to our fav club. This was the first time I had been to the FL in many, many years - this being perhaps the third time in my life I'd even been here. Anyway, they nabbed us for $3 parking in the closest lot, and $10 cover charge at the door. This was between 6pm and 7pm during the week - and personally, I'd prefer not being nickled and dimed at a club...

Inside, my impressions were that I just couldn't get behind the physical layout changes that had been made to the club. Simply put, the layout of the club just doesn't flow right - it seems way off. As for the scenery, we were catching the end of the day shift and then the transition to night shift. Quite frankly, I thought that one or two of the waitresses were hotter than any of the dancers that were there during my stint. The girls for the most part weren't aggressive on the hustle, and some were paired off it appeared with regulars. Also, it seemed to me that this club was more about the stage and stage dance than some of the other area clubs. Ohe other thing this club has is a handful of massage girls that cycle thru the club. I suppose it's a nice option to have on occasion, but it becomes annoying after a while when you have to bat away maybe 10 solicitations in an hour (including several from the same ones). Granted, there were not a lot of customer's in the house when I was there, but still...

Now I had heard that there were a good number of really hott dancers at this club - and it's hard for me to dispute that, but I certainly can't confirm it either given my sample size. I'd also been told that this is not known as an "extras" club, per se. It's hard for me to confirm or deny that too. All I know is that the draw for me to this club just isn't there. If/when I do go back, I'd probably make it a Saturday Night and go from there...
