Shangri-La/Honeys, trucks can park in the parking lot next door. It's in kind of a shady area, but pretty much all of Gary is pretty shady. The club is housed in an old bank, cool little dive and they kept with the bank theme. The stage is against a wall in the main room and low to the ground with fairly comfortable seating in front. I didn't really like it until I realized that attribute allowed for very good interaction for stage dances. You'll understand once you go there. Back wall is lined with seating, also comfortable and a few couch setups around the floor. I really do appreciate clubs with comfortable seating. That's a big plus for me. Had a nice variety of girls working, a few white, a few black (of varying degrees of skin tone), a few Latin girls and a variety of shapes and sizes. No real fatties, so if that's your thing this place isn't for you.
Had a chat with one girl as soon as I walked in, no quick sale or push or anything like that, just a chat. She wasn't really what I was looking for and she didn't take offense to that. Well played in my book as I hate dancers that get all offended because you, the customer, aren't "in to" them. Tossed some bills around in the stage that got an ass shaking right in my face. I'm not an ass man but this girl had a wonderful back yard. Watched most of the rotation on stage and give props to those girls for dancing with only a few customers in the place. They still did their show and for the most part seemed like they were enjoying themselves and actually trying to work with the limited stage space/pole they had. Kudos ladies. The music isn't too loud and the DJ isn't obnoxious. He was actually very approachable and informative. Had a light chat with him, nice enough fella. A very attractive girl sat down to chat at the table with me as I was enjoying the stage show of a very attractive petite girl with a few tattoos, gettin down to some metal. The girl I was chatting with didn't get offended when I excuses myself to the stage and didn't even ask for a tip when I did so. I was fairly impressed with this. Out of the 8 or 9 girls working, only one shot into the lap dance sale in under 5 minutes. Impressed.
The Grand Finale: Had a chat with that petite gal with tats, for at least 45 minutes after she got off stage. It was more like bullshitting with a new friend, very comfortable and none of the weird "hey, are you going to give me some money" type feeling. No pushy sales pitch, even after all of the time she had invested in me, just a friendly reminder after about an hour of "well, you let me know what you wanna do". I weighed my options and opted for one of the champagne rooms (I hate that phrase in clubs that don't actually serve champagne). It was very comfortable and private and as far as that type of room goes, is far less expensive than most other clubs in the nation. I had a great time, the clock is very liberal and the entertainment rivaled the best clubs in Texas. That's where the details end, your all going to have to find out for yourselves. I don't recall that girls name, but if you happen upon a short blond with smaller boobs, a few tattoos and a wonderful ass, get her attention before somebody else does, she was well worth it.
