Was in London for business and i had a free Friday so I trained up to see my good friend and stayed over night in Reading. The evening started at a nice Italian restaurant followed by a visit to a local hotspot that wasn't looking so hot anymore... bad economy would be my guess or that my friend, we are both in our 40's and fathers to little kids, doesn't know the night life much any more in town as he doesn't get out much. Anyways, we finally ended up at Sugar's. Up the stairs we go and into the club. Its a rather narrow club with the bar at one end, a small stage in the middle and on the other end a private dance area... which isn't all that private. The area is a U shape fo padded benches along three walls. Plenty of air dances going on with no touching. Apparently the town council had passed a ordinance that didn't allow touching anymore... well, so much for all the good stories my friend had told me before we had gotten there about the place. There were about 20 or so girls there that night and they were hustling for private dances or drinks. There were a few lookers but mostly 6-7's. At the end of the day, save your money and go elsewhere and if you are stuck in Reading perhaps a trip is worthwhile to have a drink or two but don't spend for any dances until the ordinances are changed.
