This club is kinda of out...
This club is kinda of out of the way in New Albany, Indiana, right across the river from Louisville. From the outside, it looks like what I, in my youth in WNY, would have called a "gin mill", i.e. the "Rustic" fits. The gravel parking lot is relatively large, with plenty of room, and seemed to be well-lit.
As you walk in, the nicely clean restrooms (in fact, the whole place seemed very clean) are to the right of the entrance alcove, a stairs to the upper floor is immediately to the left, and the main room is past the stairs to the left. In the entry way is a counter with a cash register, but at about 7:30 when I arrived, I paid no cover. Shortly after 8:00, I saw some people paying cover when they came in, so that is probably when they start charging.
The main room is large, and dominated by the large stage set in the center. The stage is about 15 feet wide, and 30-40 feet long, with two dance poles. It is slightly raised from the floor, and surrounded by a counter wide enough for the dancers to sit on, at which counter there is plenty of seating all the way around. In addition to single chairs, there are also some tables directly attached to that counter where you can sit. There's about 10 or 15 feet of clearance all the way around the stage. There are small tables and comfortable chairs up against the outside wall, away from the stage, and a couple of couches on one wall.
