Visited Rick's Saloon on a Friday...

Visited Rick's Saloon on a Friday and Saturday night in early August. I am from Vegas, so it's hard not to judge all clubs by Vegas standards. Of the 3 clubs I visited in New Orleans (Barely Legal, Scores, and this one), Rick's Saloon was by far the best. Relatively large interior with 2 stages, a somewhat enclosed "lap dance room" and an upstairs. The girls were better than at the other 2 places, and were on par with Vegas girls at CH3 or Club Paradise around 7:00 pm on a Friday. Not amazing, but some decent talent. Don't expect Rhino/Sapphire Friday midnight talent.

Dances are allegedly $40 a piece or 3 for $100. Not hard to negotiate down, though, if you want. I ended up doing 4 for $100 both nights after the first dance was pretty nice. Definitely more in tune with Vegas rules on mileage than the other 2 clubs, and the girls were very polite in explaining their personal rules beforehand (which were very lax on both occasions). All in all, I'd recommend and probably would go back if I return to the Big Easy. Also, Friday night appears to have $6 drinks all night, which is pretty great.
