With most of the flights leaving midnight or later, you end up with time to kill in Anchorage. If you are going to be waiting for a late flight, visit the Great Alaskan Bush Co. First, there is no cover and second, the drinks are reasonable. I drifted in around 7 pm and found myself surrounded by young ladies. As a group, they ran between 6 and 8 with maybe a 9 or two that seemed glued to regular customers. The sticker price for a dance was $20, but I was able to negotiate for three for $40. While the dances arenot Vegas or Tampa, the girls are very friendly.

The place is a cross between and old cowboy bar and a brothel. Compared to killing time on the plastic seats at the airport, this place is heaven.
