I recently went to check out the Sands for the first time. I had a pretty decent time. The dancer-to-patron ration was reasonable. I watched a couple girls dance on their tiny stage before agreeing to a dance in the VIP section. First off, $40/dance is WAY too much. I got one dance from a blond who just sort of wiggled around until the song was over. Pretty boring. Later I got a second (and third) dance from a brunette who definitely earned her $40. I've heard before that the quality of the dances here is pretty hit or miss. That was definitely the case for me. Ultimately I had a pretty good time. I'd go back. Another plus - they have a parking lot. Minus - the door is on a major street. Daylight coming and going might be kind of embarrassing, if you get embarrassed by that sort of thing.
