After a bad time at Chapeau...
After a bad time at Chapeau Vert, I decided to go to Trumpps to see if it was any better. The cashier there was a cool dude. He made every attempt to make my visit pleasant, but things just ended up being so-so. Granted, the quality of dancers at Trumpps were superior to most, but only one dancer stopped by my booth to ever spark up any conversation. I believe her name was Carter (or something like that) and she was new there. My waitress was also new there. It was their first day working there. The waitress was attentive and nice. I would have bought a few dances from Carter, but I think she ended up giving someone multiple dances at the end of the night, so I couldn't catch up with her. I saw two shot girls there and neither made *any* attempt to stop by my booth to offer a shot (one was in gold and the other was in white). It was $10 to get in and $20 to get a booth. I opted for the booth just so I'd be comfortable. I was only there for an hour or so though, so I can't say that things wouldn't have been better if I'd come in earlier. I felt like something was wrong with me because I was only spoken to once. There was a hot Latina (at least, I think she was Latina) there and I tipped her and a few others, but I still received no conversation. There was also one other waitress who checked on me to make sure I didn't need anything, which I appreciate. The drinks were a bit expensive, but seeing how nice the club looked and how pretty the dancers were, I understood. I ended up paying $20 for 2 drinks (tip included). They have a bathroom attendant, which means automatic tipping. They also have mandatory valet, which was $6 + tip. I walked in with roughly $210 after getting $100 from the ATM, which I DO NOT recommend going to in Trumpps. The surcharge was $20 for a transaction with a maximum of a $100 withdrawal. What a shitty thing to do to your customers. I left the club with $134 in hand. Note that I bought no dances and had only a few drinks. I don't think that's too good.
On my way out the cashier asked if I had a good time and I discussed the shot girls with him. He said he'd do something about it. I didn't want to get anyone in trouble, but he seems like such a good guy that I bet he probably just made the suggestion that they step it up a little. I didn't mention the dancers though. If I had to say yea or nay to going to Trumpps, I'd say it's a yea. I'm going to give it another try. It's definitely magnitudes above Chapeau Vert.
