It's been a while since I'd been at this well-known Manhattan outpost. The layout and format haven't changed: 2 dancers behind the bar, 1 on the furthest "VIP" stage, and 4 dancers on the main "c"-shaped stage, lined with seats. I arrived around 930 on a Saturday, and it was dead. Probably 40+ dancers, all shapes and ethnicities. And probably 35 of them asked me for a dance in the first half hour. But I like the energy of a busier club, so I waited-- and I was rewarded. By 1130, the place was hopping and I was able to enjoy the full cycle of dancers through their stage sets, so I learned who could really move, and who was gong through the motions. One worthwhile trend of recent years is female customers enjoying the clubs, and I've enjoyed watching them get lap dances-- and get really into them. Spotted one lovely tip a dancer on VIP, then follow the dancer after her set for a couple of ravishing couch dances against the back wall; thouroughly entertaining, and I got the next set from that very excited dancer. Life was good.
